A note from the founder
It’s hard to believe after two years of planning, ParentMD has come to life! I am personally so thankful to all those individuals who believed in the vision and have contributed so far. For me this is not just another business venture, but a passion to make life easier and better for parents and their children.
One theme that drives me is much like my philosophy while in private practice: Let me hold your hand on the journey, do the homework for you, and bring peace of mind by connecting and caring.
As we grow, understanding why ParentMD is different and fills a need for families is key:
- Parents have limited time in general and limited time with their primary pediatrician.
- Parents are anxious and stressed when they cannot get immediate, trusted answers.
- Parents are overwhelmed with searching the internet to find trusted partners and resources.
ParentMD can be a single, trusted place for parents to easily access:
- telehealth partners for after-hours care when access is key,
- educational resources vetted by our team or created in our studio,
- and an engaged community of other parents and pediatricians to share experiences and crowd source resources for one another.

We may not have all the answers nor resources for every scenario, but we will strive to grow our resources and services based on the needs shared by parents.
