A note from the founder
My conversations lately with friends have centered around the value of taking a stroll, feeling the warmth of the sunshine, and just being in places where man’s footprint and the hustle and bustle of daily life are limited. For me, I find great joy while fishing in our farm pond, walking the neighborhood, or driving through the countryside and appreciating all of the trees and flowers showing their colors.
Given Spring is upon us, I am excited to record an upcoming podcast with a dear friend of mine, Chad Miles. Chad is the host of Kentucky Afield TV at Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife and will be joining me to talk about the importance of children connecting with nature – a topic that I am deeply passionate about.
Just like the fresh air that comes with spring and getting outside, ParentMD is seeing several blossoming opportunities to make parenting a little bit easier for you. What does the rest of 2023 look like you ask?
- We recently laid out the rest of our content plan for 2023 that actually overflowed into 2024 with speakers and topics. As we expand our footprint there is no shortage of opportunities to bring awareness and increase understanding of such topics as mental health, parenting advice, thriving in the first year of life, and learning lessons from other parents.
- We are excited to continue expanding our partnerships with employers who want to bring ParentMD to employees to support their parenting journeys.
- It has been such a pleasure to see more of the personal testimonials highlighting how ParentMD has brought answers, peace of mind, and even “saved our vacation.” If you have a story you’d like to share, let us know here.
We love hearing from you! It’s YOUR input that is driving what we create and how, so that ParentMD can make your lives easier.
A couple of ideas we are working on are expanding access to parent coaches and developing a simple portable personal health record authored by the parent with only the most salient information. We’d love your input on these things as we continue to create and will send out surveys to capture, so be on the lookout for that.
As always, I (and our entire team) greatly appreciate your support, ideas, and feedback!
